Doris Peel

The author of the poem, Doris Peel, is now deceased, but her poem has been enjoyed by many families since it was published in 1961. We have permission from the publisher of the original poem, The Christian Science Publishing Society to use the poem and the musical arrangement from The Christian Science Hymnal. Doris published several books (2 novels) as well as books of her poetry and was a correspondent for several magazines and newspapers.
